Dear Minden Charity
Supporter:
We would like to
invite you to participate in our 8th
annual fund-raising effort as a $1,000
sponsor. Thanks to
our sponsors, last year’s event was
another huge success, with almost
$39,000 raised for local charitable
causes. Since last
year’s tournament, we distributed
$30,000 to 23 families in our area, and
since our inception in 2004, over
$205,674 to 140 families. Needs have
ranged from house fires, to catastrophic
illnesses, to other life-changing
events.
The dates for this
year’s event will be June 3-4-5 and our
schedule will be the same as 2010. All
social events are scheduled for Friday
night, and will include dinner, auction,
and a dance with Hard Times. There will
be no social activity on Saturday night.
Golf will be played at The Grove Golf
Course on both days, and the social
event held at Pine Hills Country Club.
We’ve attached a
schedule of events and times for your
convenience, as well as a sponsor
registration form. We
had a full field of sponsor-only teams
last year and anticipate the same this
year, so we strongly encourage you to
respond promptly, no later than April
29th. Beyond April
29th, we cannot guarantee a team to past
sponsors.

family we’ve helped over the years.
